you jump into a pond. there aren't alligators in the pond but there are alligators in your soul. you open your eyes and you see something. at first it's an ice cube but then it's refracted into six different things at a time. one of those things is something you remember, one of those things is totally new, and one of those things is exactly the direction you're going.
